As products are core of your business, product catalogue is a main module of SMARTB2B.
It is a central place to manage and present to your customers all information regarding your assortment.
We have prepared predefined fields with standard data – name, collection, description, packaging (with multiple packaging units, dimensions and weights of each type of packaging, multiple EAN codes), warranty information, tariff code and country of origin. Product catalogue can be extended to contain all product attributes specific to your products.
All texts – names and descriptions – can be translated to multiple languages and SMARTB2B will present your customers with all the information in the most appropriate language.
All products in SMARTB2B are arranged in multilevel categories that should follow the hierarchy of products in your existed catalogues and priceslists. All product can be assigned to multiple categories and by setting permissions to each category you can limit your customers to see only part of your assortment according to their trade conditions.
SMARTB2B’s ordering systems is a central location where your sales are taking place.
For your customers it a combination of solutions found in modern, user-friendly consumer online shops and features designed for business – all contributing to a system that is very comfortable to use and provides all the necessary information during placing an order.
Instead of working with multiple documents that you have provided earlier – your catalogue, pricelist, current actions, list of discontinued products, information about stock levels, products logistics data – your customer have all those information combined in one place, so he already knows his purchase price (including all applicable discounts), availability of products he is ordering as well as expected weight and volume of his order.
For customers abroad – apart from the prices you provide – we will show for their convenience approximate price in their local currency according to daily updated conversion rates, so they can easily estimate value or cost of each product or order.
For you, the ordering systems, is a platform where you can manage all pricelists and discounts.
We have made a system as flexible as possible, where you can arrange trade conditions of your customers in any way possible. All possible schemes of pricelists and discounts has been taken into account – simple pricelists, purchase pricelists based on SRP with fixed discount, degressive pricelists with prices based on quantity ordered.
Promotional campaigns can be set up using net prices or discount off current purchase prices with conditions to be met for the discount to be applied.
If your ERP system is not as flexible, you can use SMARTB2B to set up campaigns and customers placing orders will have all applicable discounts applied according to what they see in the customer portal.
You can set up to three prices for each customer – apart from the purchase price, you can show them extra prices like suggested retail prices or ex-factory FOB prices. Each of those prices can be in different currency, so when selling abroad you can suggest your customers prices for their local market in their local currency.
If your customers are obliged to order by full cartons, minimum quantities or minimal order value – our system will enforce all rules.
SMARTB2B can work with or without communication to your ERP system while retaining most of the functions.
If operating without any data exchange you need to enter all product data – by editing them inside SMARTB2B or by importing XLS files. Orders placed by your customer will be delivered to you by e-mail.
Stock levels have to be updated manually by uploading XLS exported from your ERP. Workflow and accepted format of the file will be prepared specifically to speed up the process.
Basic – read-only – interfacing adds automatic updates of product catalogue with information from your computer system. Stock levels will be updated up to few times per hour and all new products will appear automatically for editor to arrange them in proper categories.
Full interfacing with write access to your computer system will bring all placed orders as Sales Orders directly to your ERP ready for further processing.
API interface enables your customers’ computer systems to communicate directly with SMARTB2B automatically fetching product data, refreshing availability of products in customer’s online shop etc.
